Marie Angel is a Two Spirit Afro-indigenous woman of Trans experience born in Tolupán land, Honduras.

She immigrated to the U.S. where she continued her studies and advocacy on Trans and immigrant rights. Marie’s story and journey from marginalized restaurant worker to advocate has been featured Nat Geo’s “Gender Revolution” documentary and Nevertheless documentary.

Marie’s expertise involves community organizing, youth programs facilitation, policy and lobbying efforts, private consultancy training workshop, educational interactive webinars. Clients include public and private sectors across the U.S. such as Disney Mas, Los Angeles Department of Public Health, TransLatina Coalition, Urbody Inc. Los Angeles Times, New York Times, University of Houston-Downtown, Los Angeles City College system, UCLA Berkley, Occidental College among many more.
